Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send an order confirmation email. We may decline an order where a piece is no longer available, where the price or description was wrong, where payment is not authorised, or where we suspect fraud or resale.

Pieces are made in small runs and stock shown on the site may be taken by another order placed at the same moment. If that happens we will tell you and refund you in full.

Prices, currency and taxes

Prices are shown in your selected currency and include applicable sales tax where we are required to charge it. Import duties and destination-country taxes are not included and are payable by you.

We may change prices at any time, but never for an order already confirmed. Where an obvious pricing error occurs we will contact you before dispatch and let you confirm or cancel.

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment processor. We never see or store your full card details. Orders are only dispatched once payment has cleared.

Natural materials and variation

Our pieces are handmade from natural materials. Slub in linen, variation in indigo depth, grain in teak, and hammer marks in brass are inherent to the material and the method, not defects. Screen colours vary; the product photographs are as accurate as we can make them.

Delivery and risk

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and carrier and customs delays are outside our control. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the address you gave us.

Cancellation and returns

You may return unworn pieces as set out in our returns policy. Consumers in the EU and the UK have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of receiving the goods, which applies in addition to our policy. Made-to-order and personalised pieces are excluded from the statutory right where the law allows.

Faulty goods

If a piece arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, tell us as soon as you notice and we will repair, replace or refund it and cover return shipping. Your statutory rights apply in full, and nothing in these terms affects them.

Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. You may not scrape the site, resell pieces as an unauthorised stockist, or use our images, product copy or wordmark without written permission.

Intellectual property

The CONSTANTINVS name, wordmark, photography, product descriptions and journal writing are ours or licensed to us, and remain so.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Your consumer protection

If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
