CONSTANTINVS — made once, in named workshops
Shirts, trousers, textiles and objects for the home, for men who dress for heat and distance. Each chapter is cut in Bali from one sourced cloth, made once, then closed.
One cloth. One workshop. One run.
We work in chapters. One material, one region, one named workshop: modrotisk indigo hand-printed at the Strážnice printworks in South Moravia, ikat handwoven in Tenganan, cloth from a Greek mill, handloom cotton from the Red River Delta.
A chapter is cut in a single run, in the quantity the cloth allows. When the run is finished the chapter closes and is not reprinted.
That is the whole model. No seasons, no restocks, no volume targets — which is why what you see in the shop is what exists.
Chapter open now: The Moravian Chapter
Hand-stamped indigo modrotisk linens from the last traditional printworks in Strážnice, Czech Republic. Camp collars, tailored shorts, and table runners — each bearing centuries-old sunflower and botanical motifs pressed by wooden blocks onto European flax.
Made in one run — not reprinted once the cloth is used.

Named cloth, named workshops
Named cloths only — modrotisk indigo from Strážnice, handwoven ikat from Tenganan, Greek mill cotton, Vietnamese handloom cotton, Korean ramie, Andalusian vegetable-tanned leather, Balinese brass and teak.
Modrotisk indigo is hand block-printed at the Strážnice printworks in South Moravia with pear-wood blocks over a century old; the technique is on the UNESCO intangible heritage list. Ikat is handwoven in Tenganan, East Bali, where the warp is tied and dyed before it reaches the loom.

Each chapter is made once, in the quantity the cloth allows, and is not reprinted. We write when a new one opens and when one closes — the workshop, the cloth, what was cut.
